About
The Rose and Crown is a well-known local landmark that has been owned by the same family since 1985. Rebuilt in the early 1930's at 199 Stoke Newington Church St, right across the road from its original location, the Rose and Crown was designed for Truman's Brewery by the highly respected pub architect A.E. Sewell, and now lies adjacent to the 13th century St. Mary's Church, and proudly overlooking Clissold Park and fashionable Stoke Newington Church Street, with its eclectic mix of boho shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.Standard Double
